More than 100 events are being staged at six neighborhood art districts, 10 museums, 20 performing arts venues and 100 art galleries. The Starz Denver Film Festival leads this week of special events, discounts and activities for everyone – from those who know little about the arts to lifelong film, opera, theater or ballet buffs.

Denver Arts Week kicks off early this year, with a SNEAK PREVIEW Fear No Art First Friday, 6-9 pm on November 7th. Explore local galleries, learn more about buying art, meet the artists and experience Denver’s creative neighborhoods.

Denver Arts Week opens with “Night at the Museums” on Friday, November 14th. Denver museums are offering FREE admission from 5-10pm with special programming, from jazz, modern dance and lantern tours, to Polar-Palooza at the Denver Museums of Nature & Science. Free shuttles are also provided.

Denver Arts Week presents “Night on the Red Carpet” on Saturday evening, November 15, in cooperation with Starz Denver Film Festival and its “Big Night” at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Denver theaters are also “rolling out the red carpet” with special discounts. Get creative, wear red and join the fun!
